HYDRAHEAL MEDICATED PADS
EQUINE WOUND CARE
Introducing a new product for the treatment of wounds on the Equine Athlete or Pleasure Horse. Hydraheal combines the technology of the 90's with the proven treatment of the past to create a medicated pad to alleviate the problems associated with wounds and abrasions in the horse.
The Hydraheal Medicated Pad is used to treat cracked heels, rundowns, cuts, abrasions and burns associated with intense training, performance and even everyday pleasure use. Hydraheal is an Aloe Vera based saturated pad that is used to cover and treat these persistent wounds that plague the horse Owner/Trainer. The 4"x4" pad can be cut to fit the affected area and is kept in place for at least 24 hours. Upon removal you will see a removal of the dead (necrotic) tissue and proudflesh, revealing a moist red wound bed ready for the growth of new, healthy tissue.
This treatment is currently being used in Nursing Homes to treat Decubitis Ulcers (bedsores). This medical treatment has now been introduced to the Veterinary market with impressive results. Trainers and Owners alike at such places as Churchill Downs, Keeneland, Monmouth Park, Aqueduct, Belmont and other racetracks around the Country have been using the product for over a year now and keep coming back for more with every new cut or scrape.
This product is offered to the horse owner who is concerned about treating their animals with all the advanced technology available to bring the animal up to performance speed in a relatively short period of time.
